This book makes you helpless and puts you into a hype to read the next book to solve the mystery and thats what exactly happened with me. This book is beautifully written and as you are on the verge of finishing this book, the end puts you into this suspense and restlessness as to what the second book holds. And you know its a great book when you can see the story as though its happening right in front of you. The part where Amish describes about Shiva dancing was beautiful which eventually got me crazy. 🌼I never had such a huge crush on a fiction character. But this book was a great one for me.įirst is The Immortals of Meluha, second is The Secret of the Nagas and the third one is The Oath of the Vayuputras. I know there have also been very critical comments on this books. This was one of those books which made me restless until I finished the book. 🌼 The book was absolutely how I have had heard about it. This is the first book in a trilogy on Shiva, the simple man whose karma recast him as our Mahadev, the God of Gods. The only hope for the Suryavanshis is an ancient legend: ‘When evil reaches epic proportions, when all seems lost, when it appears that your enemies have triumphed, a hero will emerge.’ Is the rough-hewn Tibetan immigrant Shiva really that hero? And does he want to be that hero at all? Drawn suddenly to his destiny, by duty as well as by love, will Shiva lead the Suryavanshi vengeance and destroy evil?
To make matters worse, the Chandravanshis appear to have allied with the Nagas, an ostracised and sinister race of deformed humans with astonishing martial skills.
